I was told by a prior mold inspector that I may have mold, but he didn't test properly. Then I had another guy come out and charge me for putting together a mold remediation protocol, and he declined to do additional testing since the first guy had already done it. I then called Anderson Restoration to come out and do the work - I expected the fees to have been in the range of $10k-30k, and that's not counting the disruption and expense of moving out and getting a rental home while they do the work. But when Nicolas from Anderson Restoration came out, he told me to pump the brakes, take a step back, and let's see if this is actually mold in the first place, because he was skeptical. He gave me the names of a couple of reputable mold testing companies (shoutout to Blake Salcetti and Dean Cox from Texas Mold Advisors). They came out, tested properly, and concluded I don't have mold - what I'm seeing are just fruit fly droppings and can be easily handled. Anderson saved me an enormous amount of hassle and expense, and you can bet I will refer them to anyone I know who needs mold restoration or water damage restoration work done. Thank you.Posted on Google![]()

In March of 2024 a valve broke in my upstairs bathroom causing water damage to it and the kitchen below it. Anderson was recommended by my insurance company so I used them for the cleanup, dry out and restoration. They did an excellent job in all areas. I was so grateful and impressed with the work and professionalism they showed but I was glad to be done with them. Little did I know I would need them again. In December 2025 a pipe broke in the same bathroom causing flooding in the kitchen again. I immediately called Jared and asked if he remembered me. He said of course! What can I do for you? I told him what happened and he sent a team. Again they were prompt, professional and sensitive to my needs. They don’t mind going the extra mile for you even negotiating with the insurance company. I highly recommend Anderson Restoration.Posted on Google![]()

Anderson Restoration did an amazing job thoroughly assessing the water damage done to my home. Ramiro Torres is the project manager on my case. Him and his team answered any questions or concerns that I had. They worked seamlessly with my insurance adjuster and they cleaned up after the work order was complete. I look forward to working with this team in the future! Update: Anthony Tran is helping with the repair portion of the project. He is doing an amazing job working with my insurance and providing timely estimates. I could not have asked for a better team!

Sugar Land grew from its namesake sugar refinery into one of Houston’s most affluent and well-planned suburbs, sitting southwest of the city near the Brazos River. It’s known for strong schools, manicured neighborhoods, and a notable cultural scene built around a downtown square and a major concert venue. Residents enjoy easy access to walking trails, lakes, performing arts, and one of the more polished shopping and dining hubs in the entire metro.
Sugar Land Memorial Park honors veterans with a peace monument near the center of the property, surrounded by a two-mile walking loop, a fishing pond, a butterfly garden, and a playground. The trail connects to neighboring Brazos River Park for those who want a longer route, and kayak rentals are available on the pond seasonally. Benches and water fountains are scattered throughout, which makes it manageable in warm weather. Early mornings are quietest, and the butterfly garden peaks during late spring and summer.
Designed to feel like a walkable downtown, Sugar Land Town Square anchors the city with a central plaza, a Marriott hotel, upscale restaurants like Perry’s Steakhouse, and a steady rotation of community events. The plaza hosts live music, outdoor movies, tree lighting ceremonies, and seasonal markets throughout the year. Parking is mostly free, including the garages, which makes spontaneous visits easy. Evenings before sunset are the best time to grab a patio seat at one of the restaurants and watch the square come alive.
With seating for over 6,400 and an interior built for impressive acoustics, Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land hosts touring concerts, comedy shows, cultural performances, and seasonal events year-round. The venue is intimate enough that even the back rows have a solid view, and the modern lobby and clean restrooms get consistently strong reviews. Security can be slow on busy nights, so arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime, and double-check the bag size policy on their site to avoid getting turned back at the gate.
Stretching along Oyster Creek near Highway 6, this park is a longtime favorite for slow walks, family photos, and sunset views. A central fountain, a small bridge over the creek, an outdoor stage, and a network of meandering paths make it a particularly photogenic spot. Alligators have been known to make appearances in the creek itself, so keep an eye out from the bridges. Weekends are busy but parking is plentiful and free, and the shaded benches under mature trees offer a real break from the heat.
